Hm? You need to buy and install a copy of Windows Vista or later... There's no "upgrade file"...
When switching the OS of your computer you should know what you are doing.
Anyway, that's not the topic here, I am sure there are hundreds of tutorials online on how to install Windows. Just search on Google.

Two issues I would love to see resolved on VTS. Its a great application, but if you are all out to make it better, then I will critique.
1. When the bottom windows are dragged up, the scroll bars don't compensate. So, I can't look at a lower project without dragging back down the log.
2. I would love to see an option to open a file in another program. Not in explorer, but an open with...The size of the viewing window isn't enough for me on my laptop and I tend to navigate to it and open in .notepad++. To have it as a built in option would be great
I know the second one takes quite a bit more effort, but if the first could be resolved, that would be much appreciated.

1) Not sure at all what you want me to do.
2) I can certainly do that. (Edit: aaaaaand done!) However I don't understand why Notepad++ has more space than VTS? After all your screen can't grow

Actually I get what he means. If you have multiple tabs docked, the central viewing area is not fullscreen. Opening in np++ allows you to view the document fullscreen without undocking all tabs and having to set them up again
I usually right click and open the folder in explorer, then open the doc, but a direct Open with.... option is even better
