Thanks but I think that the directions could be even more explicit.
Using the all in one tool, it is not clear whether the phone needs to be connected to usb (some people may forget), and it's not clear what mode the phone needs to be in. Does it need to be in the bootloader menu by pressing vol down and power? Or can you just plug the phone in via usb and start it working?

Just plug it in. Make sure USB debugging is on. App will reboot as necessary.

I have a Wind Mobile (Canada) based Amaze 4G. Are there instructions on how to load ICS for this version?

There is a hack to set the amaze to accept firmware for any carrier. I think it is called 111111 or something like that. Sorry I can't be of more help.

You need to SuperCID for Non T-Mobile Amaze Users. Otherwise, it isn't really necessary then.
