If you look on the ATT website it clearly says Gray.

Gray is more common in America.

actually, he did not.
gray is used primarily in the US and other areas that use US English.
grey is used in Great Britain and areas that use UK English. sooo, they're both correct

Actually, both spellings are correct: grey or gray. It's a geographical thing.

Addendum: mrvirginia explained it best. We Canadians use both UK English and US English, and my preference is grey. The word "gray" reminds me of a person's last name.

I went to ATT played with the White, and all I kept thinking is, don't want phone looking old after a month........ White scares me

i went with white simply because you can do more with cases. in my case, i'm covering my white one with a gray case

the gray is very sexy though, it's hard to choose.

Is it tacky to quote-reply to my own post? I don't even care. I just called my Radioshack and got some ditz on the phone who didn't know anything about anything. But then I checked their website and they are very clearly offering both white and gray available for pre-order. I'm going to take my receipt in this weekend to see if I can get gray confirmed. I just can't get a white phone. Not with as much time as I spend in the shop with grease or oil on my hands.
