Thumbs up Readerdock N-Station

I pre-ordered my N-Station a while back and just got an e-mail that I am a step closer to having it at my bedside . Once shipped (via Priority Mail), I will receive a confirmation email and a tracking number...customer service is their #1 priority...sounds great for a start-up! Have you ordered yours yet?

Yea! I'll be glad to get it after the long wait.

I second that. I had been using a pair speakers, they had great sound but hauling them from room to room is a hassle.

Anyone get this yet? Waiting to hear/see a review from an XDA member, please report back after using it for a while.

Thanks

The website does say "specifically for the Barnes & Noble NOOK Color and Tablet".
The Nook Touch is not included because it does not have any audio hardware built in.

My docking solution does not have a nice stand (yet?), but it does have a charger, speakers and a full keyboard.
Make your own: back-powering hub, USB keyboard, USB audio adapter, amplified speakers.
Then you just need verygreen & mali100's kernel, 2 apps and a few patches.
Throw in a mic and you're on Skype.

@hookedonnook: You are talking about a Nook Tablet?

Yes, I have a 16gig NT. By the way, I received confirmation that my N-Station is in-route. I should have it Monday :D

I guess this is on the wrong forum. Can any administrator fix that please?

Bought one and just got it. It isn't powered, so I still have to use my broken NC USB cable, and the speakers are really weak. There's a volume control on the front, so I assume the speakers are powered, but the volume is very low with everything maxed out. In all, I'd say it's about worth no more than $20.

Please email us at contact@readerdock.com so we can help you. The dock speakers are very loud and I'd like to make sure you have the dock plugged in, you're using the supplied audio cable, and the volume on the Nook is turned all the way up. I look forward to hearing from you.
