Arrow [ROM] [MULTi-CSC] i9000XXJW4 2.3.6 - XXJW4 OXAJW5 XXJW4 2012-04-02 Kies (CL1043937)

MULTI-CSC : CPW DBT KOR XEO XEU

Samsung released XXJW4 with updated CSC OXAJW5 (previous release was OXAJW4) and same modem XXJW4 (new release - JW4_JW5_JW4.tar, old release - JW4_JW4_JW4.tar). Mirror link to official Samsung firmware from KIES (UK CPW release) :

http://samsung-updates.com/get/951/S...oid_2_3_6.html

KERNEL & FIRMWARE IS THE SAME XXJW4 (2012-03-19), THIS IS NOT XWJW5 (2012-03-20), THE ONLY DIFFERENT IS NEW CSC (2012-04-02).

The ONLY difference is in included Google Play Books app:

OXAJW4: BooksPhone (com.google.android.apps.books) version 1.4.4

OXAJW5: BooksPhone (com.google.android.apps.books) version 1.4.6

more specific:

JW4_JW4_JW4.tar > cache.rfs > sec_csc.zip

/system/csc/CPW/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/DBT/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/KOR/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/XEO/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/XEU/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 2403592 byte

JW4_JW5_JW4.tar > cache.rfs > sec_csc.zip

/system/csc/CPW/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 2438710 byte
/system/csc/DBT/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/KOR/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/XEO/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 0 byte
/system/csc/XEU/system/app/BooksPhone.apk = 2438710 byte

there is NO other differences.

If you look for a CSC XEU you should get - Portugues Europe (which is probably not to far from Portugues-Brasil).
As this firmware includes XEU it should be ok (except if you don't like Portugues Europe).
