I'd just love to have call echo fixed so people stop telling me about something I already know. Never had call echo on GB. (I have tried the search but with how many posts there are with 'how to' and 'patch' in them its quite difficult and easier to ask)

Flash this via clockwork mod recovery as you would a ROM

Earlier I had reported 3 good calls.

I took my testing a bit further and called while adjusting the volume, muting, switching to speaker. And removing and replacing my case.

Hey, I'm sold. My son said he sounded fine.

Also to the OP. What do the display firmware in /etc have to do with the audio echo? and i understand you're trying to fix the compass so is that why the sensors lib is in there?
wow? are you even being serious? First and foremost, I just released my rom not even 24 hours ago. Second of all, why would I release something or give the info of what i did if I cant even confirm that its working across all devices? Although I have rectified the issue on my device and have reports from others that say the caller on the other end doesnt not have the echo anymore, doesnt mean that I have fixed 100%. So the only one doing any disservice to the community is the one who talks all the **** in an attempt to gain some sort of attention..

While the approach should work because it appears to reverse the noise redcution switch (hence why the TDJ says to keep it on)...
exactly what it is... wow and you didn't even have to talk a bunch of **** to say that..

+1 You are under no obligation to do so

Please -all- refrain from making hostile references to other people's work. This should be done via PM.

The purpose of this thread is to account for how functional this patch is.

Work with Cyanogenmod 9?

Are you planning on issuing a patch that makes WiFi calling work?

I haven't opened up the CM9 rom on this board yet. If it's based on the same kernel and its using the same audio libraries I don't see why not.

As for Wifi Calling, no it will not be in a patch form. There is deeper integration needed for it. I got the services up and running but have yet to finish modifying the Settings file to let me actually switch it on to test it.
I'm very confident that it will work. But it will be as part of my ROM not as a patch.

Can you give details? Are you using a case? What is your volume level, and did you have this problem in gingerbread?

How many people did you call to test this with?

Please also try flashing it again.

did a full wipe data, cache, formatted system, applied tdj's super wipe then installed nexusmod (juggs is my daily which i have no echo problems at all) then let it sit about 10 minutes. rebooted, then called my landline, went to the other room and tried it out. got echo. turned off noise cancellation and turned it back on, still had echo. i do use a d30 case. but it works fine even with the case on on gingerbread
