I think it only works on GB-roms..

hopefully all issues will be fixed soon, tested it for a while and seems to be fine, run chrome for the first time on my old desire, going back to 2.3.7 for now, but will check every update and when get more free time try to restore all apps with titanium to see how it performs after that. thanks for your work.

You're probably not running in english . The privacy and monitor app where the only apps which had only the chinese language. I included the english translation (monitor by myself, filtering/privacy app done by MIUI-Au), but when you don't run english you'll get chinese. This issue will be solved when we get more translation in, but I think I will make english the default language for these two apps in the next release.

I did the whole patchrom by trail and error. I could not find any guide so in the end I just started to play around and try. It looks very complicated, and sometimes you'll need to think twice or three times to figure out what really happens, but in the end I found patchrom rather logical and smart.

The default kernel included in sandvold ICS 0.5.4. When I look in settings I see:

There are 2 other options for the kernal.

1 is the Tiamat kernal that does fix the black screen issue, however it is quite heavy on battery

The 2nd is one recently posted in Sandvold thread. It is based on the stock kernal from drewis, but has extra governers, and also ondemand seems to be working with no black screen deaths in 4 days of testing for me.

Unlikely. Andy hasn't modded extended settings for ICS version so far... But he did mention he would sometime in the future so just the question of wait and see...

google play error

installed the rom on data++ hboot, using ad2sdx (i know its better for cm7r2) stock everything else.... google play gives download error, "Youtube" could not be downloaded due to an error (-101)...... ill try cm7r2 hboot and report if its solved or not....
