lx-d2x is the adapted amarullz script made by Lenny_Kano. Most people have a better usage with that script. I also use lx-d2x. Best speed is with a C6 card, but I also have a C10 and have no issues.
Btw. What do you mean with sense hboot ? Is that the same as stock hboot ? Maybe a silly question, but I am still learning all the differences and strangenesses of hboots .
I use PCAPPS2SD with my class 10 card this gives me the fastest miui feeling.
The differences between all hboots are listed on www.alpharev.nl
they affect the sizes of the internal partitions.

The only real difference between the different Desire hboots would be the partition sizes. If it helps, you can find a nicely detailed table of these sizes on Alpharev's website.
Edit: Oops, I didn't see soronk had already mentioned that before I posted my message.. My bad.

Hi Soronk, ZaLiTH,
Thanks for the information. Makes it very clear. I guess when I have data++ and cm7 issues fixed then sense and N1Table hboots should work also. Only Oxygen r2 will be a problem (I don't think I get the ROM down below 100Mb ). Hopefully my changes in the installer solves the problem for data++.

Just like garreh said. It will be a problem. 110Mb is not enough for ICS. It the moment it works best with Stock HBOOT and I am looking into the installer to get it work work nicely with Data++ and CM7. CM7 is the smallest and still around 145Mb.

IMHO you no longer need to bother with custom HBOOTs since lennox' LX-D2SD works so well. I would cast my vote for keeping the ROM as complete as possible and not make too many compromises to cater for all different /system sizes.
Making lots of stuff optional in the installer would probably be an option but in the end that brings complexity up.
loving this rom, good to see someone picking up where lennox left off.
Two issues you can hopefully help me with.
1) I've changed the keyboard language to "English" however it barely ever suggest words, is there something i need to do, some kind of language pack or something? (most words are underlined in red as well as if they are spelling errors if this helps troubleshoot)
2) I can no longer seem to copy and paste, whenever i long hold, particularly in the browser and messaging, i get a magnifying glass instead of the option to copy, cut or paste.

After a quick Google search, it seems many people are having trouble with the spell check feature on ICS, including original OTA ROMs... To be honest, I just disabled it anyway. Using Swype, it has it's own auto-correct, and without spell checking the typing is faster as well.
Marange already knows about the cut/copy/paste issue, we should be getting the update for that soon.

Thanks to ZaLiTH for answering the questions, but I will add a bit to it .
1). Did you install the AOKP dictionary pack in the installer, custom install ? This should help with the spellcheck.
2). Yes, a mix-up I made in patching. This is fixed in the next release. In the latest releases Xiaomi included the magnifying glass when long press. To select a double tap should work, but the menu shown is empty.

Brilliant, i'll give the AOKP dictionary pack a blast. Looking forward to seeing the next iteration. Thanks again for your hard work.
