Maybe u wouldn't mind a white battery door on a blue phone but I for sure would and wouldn't that scenario make a shortage on white doors? Glad to hear Sammy doesn't think like u and won't send out half assed phones. Relax it will come grasshopper. It's just a phone and I'm sure we all have one we can use until the almighty SGS 3 gets here. Drink some green tea it will make the pain of waiting less fierce. loL

I wasn't suggesting the white battery door to be the permanent solution. It was a half ass joke. What Samsung should have done was send out the pebble blue devices anyways, since it's just a battery color issue. Then send the new ones to those who were affected. It's not like it's an iPhone where you can't open the battery door and the device must remain in the factory to be fixed.

I'm paranoid now. I don't know to believe Negri or not.

The reason being is that I sold my Captivate, and I just have this HOX that I have to return on the 4th since I bought it on May 6th. There's a good chance I might be without a phone for awhile.

I'm frustrated as many about the delay, was hoping to get my hands on it by Wednesday ( I ordered white btw, )

That sucks. I would hope you get it by the 4th. In the blog, Ryan Negri said they were expecting to receive their first shipments on the 31. He also said their devices are not coming from the UK or HK, and would be 90% pebble blue models. If that's the case it shouldn't take too long to get to you.

Thanks for the comfort haha... Well I do have a old flip phone and a Tilt 1 O_O. I think i might have thrown the Tilt 1 away though...

Well damn Samsung for having a color fitting issue! Sounds like a clothing issue to me. LOL

The white ones aren't delayed so you might be okay. Yea Samsung really dropped the BLUE ball on this one! I could have been a hell of a launch. Now it's just "bloody hell, where's my S3"?

Don't bank on that info though. Everything really seems up in the air with this launch. They really made a mess of it.

This is why I always have 2 extra phones per line. So I have my main phone. Then I have a backup phone incase the main phone dies. Then I have a backup to the backup phone in case the backup phone dies. You get what I'm sayin"?

Well, I used to have a HTC Desire as backup and a S2. The first was lended to a friend when I came to NY and the second I sold to buy the S3, what let me with an 2006 Nokia 5200.

There wouldn't be a problem as I can keep using(??) this phone until the S3 arrives, but all I wanted was to have this phone for my birthday next monday and now I'm sure this won't gonna happen. Should I buy any lottery ticket?
