Default Extended Battery

Extended Battery Mod

Using an aftermarket Extended Battery?

I have made 2 flash zips for Extended Battery Users. One for Stock Rooted, the other for CM9 0.5.1 (will update this one with each version released) These will make it so that your battery meter shows the proper amount of charge, rather than doing the dreaded 1% for 10 hours, then die suddenly.

GO HERE For the Files

Cheers!

Can we get one for Jokers CM9 build? I know you have one for MIUI but you said it only works for MIUI.

Default Well look at that!

Lol, Nice. Well I am actually going to try and flash this on my stockrom and see if it will stop the Non-Moto battery error. I will report back on whether or not it works.

Here's a flashable zip for those of you using a stock, rooted Photon with an extended battery. Will make it so that your battery meter shows the proper amount of charge, rather than doing the dreaded 1% for 10 hours, then die suddenly.

Extended_Stock.zip

Cheers!
If this works I will love you forever. It is such a pain to not know the actual battery level.

Without sounding like a complete noob, how do I install this? Extract the zip using a root explorer type app?

What I did when I was on the stock from.... well any from that is rooted.... was to download battery monitor widget. Setup the ma of your battery and then wipe stats. It seems to correct the battery size. When I first got my battery a few more the ago I noticed it was like nothing had changed... battery was at 50% by lunch time everyday. Now its lunch time and I'm at 88%. I did this on stock rooted ( locked boot loader) and on cm9.

To apply this on a stock, rooted, locked photon 4g, Am I able to extrace the contents of the CWM flashable zip and manually place the files in the where they are supposed to go? I Just returned to stock and kind of miss my 4G when I am around it =P.
