Question [q] htc jetstream os?

Most people who are Happy with their HTC JETSTREAM are wond3ring when Android 4.0 will be available for the HTC JETSTREAM. I would like to know if it's at all possible to put WINDOWS 8 on the HTC JETSTREAM. I know that there are gonna be a MAD as Hell about me asking this, but I have always been a WINDOWS Fan. I'm NOT putting down Android at all if ANYONE is thinking that. So PLEASE don't start ranting and raving. The HTC JETSTREAM is one GREAT TABLET!!! I know that there are a few people who also might be wondering the same thing, but didn't want to ask, so I'm asking for Anyone who didn't or won't ask the question. For ANYONE with HELPFUL Info for this Question. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Now that is a new question. It would be nice to rub Windows 8 too but I don't know anything about it working or not. The closest I could find was a remote desktop like app or connection so you could use your laptop on your tablet's screen. I think the more experienced users and devs would be more apt for this question.

If I were to consider doing that, I would NEED more than just WiFi. I don't want to pay for a data plan that will either cut me off or slow me down. If WINDOWS 8 would be INSTALLED ON the HTC JETSTREAM, then I wouldn't need to have anything more than WiFi. Where I work, there's NO WiFi at all, so, that's out of the question, but thanks for that anyway.

I'm also interested in knowing if the XDA community will make an effort to get Windows RT running on our Android tablets.

Can someone with technical knowledge of Windows RT and the Jetstream please comment?

That would be nice but I don't think Microsoft is gonna release the source code for devs to hack away any time soon. So if you wanna run windows 8 on a tablet you better save up for the surface.

The HTC Jetstream is a Solid Built device. I know that the Microsoft Surface will also be a Solid Built device as well. What I would also like to know is; How is the Sound.

So far, ALL of the other Tablets that I have personally compared to both the HTC Jetstream and Flyer, are nowhere as LOUD and Clear as the HTC Tablets.

Some of the other Tablets on the market, are so low that when you get more than 4 feet away from them, you can't hardly hear them and the rest you can't go more than 10 feet away from them. With both the HTC Tablets, I can hear them clear from 2 rooms away. That's more than 25 feet away and around the corners and walls, not like the line of Sight or Sound from ALL of the other Tablets on the Market.

Any Future Tablet that I get from here on out, has to be compared to the Jetstream for Build Quality and Sound Quality!

If you can purchase an Upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8, then I don't see why you can't also get it on a Tablet. A Tablet that according to Microsoft's Spec's it can be run on the HTC Jetstream.

It would certaintly be interesting when we find out, about the rumors that HTC is planning, in regards to the release of a new tablet that is going around.

HTC has a long track record with Microsoft and did a brillant run with the HD2, which I owned two of these benchmark devices.

As far as Jetstream is concerned, that may be a tall ask, especially at this stage of the game, as HTC hasn't given us the codes to make our devices S-Off, yet.

I have done a lot of research in comparing Jetstream with Asus's TF700T and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and I still come back to the Jetstream. As far as the Asus tablet is concerned, it will only be comparible when the 3G model is released and then there is no stylus. As far as the Note 10.1 is concerned, the specs are comparible and with my Jetstream running 1.944Ghz without a qlitch, i can't justify the 700.00 for that tablet.

So, it's really about what HTC is going to release as I am a big fan of Sense and how the integration of Sense works with any OS.
Phone: HTC One - ROM: Android Revolution HD v8.0
Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - 16GB 3G N8000 - External SD Card 64GB

ROM: Android Revolution HD v7.0 - Android 4.1.2
