I think my research done are not much on this. I thought need to unlocked bootloader in order to root the phone. Now base on your comment there are no U-turn for me at the moment.

There is a uturn, boot into fastboot and from a command line reflash a stock recovery. Apply the update and then reflash CWM. Is that simple

Apparently, yes. We're also still doing the "angrily trying to control what the Internet types" thing.

Try checking for the update a few times in a row. It's not uncommon to have to try four or five times before you get a notification. Seems like Android doesn't differentiate between 'no response from the server before timeout', and 'no update available'.

Couldn't wait i update through RUU ,so a question why not everyone whose cid listed doesnt update through ruu since its easy? Why waiting

Curious to see what the 1.29 update brings.

sorry for bugging...
i wanted to know which version has hebrew inside if anyone knows because i only have
english (taiwan)
and two other languages looks like chinese or japanese or something
and if it there is no rom with hebrew then
how do i know if my cell is at&t or something else or i don't know because i want to try and flash another rom and got lost... don't want to brick my cell
and what is CID ? :eek:

my current version is
1.29.709.12
sdk api level-4.12
extension version-403_1_GA_7

gotta say in HD2, Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab 7'' it was very easy!

Do you have a link to a guide on how to do that? Where to get stock recovery from etc. ?
Currently using White, rooted HTC One X running the stock ROM.
