...recovery keeps flashing the screen and rebooting back to recovery...buttons are unresponsive ie. Volume for up and down...altho occasionally register a press...and it won't boot either...stalls after boot animation...maybe I flashed the wrong kernel but it was from dev section. Or maybe I did the wrong process. .. or maybe the process has this tendency. Can anyone shed any light? Sorry if I missed something obvious

No. Do NOT flash ANYTHING from a repacked I9220 kernel - I wouldn't even flash another kernel.

Flash a Gingerbread kernel such as CF-Root using Odin or Heimdall.

Or you can flash DAFUQ - it's the only ICS kernel that is likely to be safe as it's built from I9100 Update4 sources like the kernel for this CM9 build. (DAFUQ will not boot this, but you can safely wipe/flash this from DAFUQ.)
*so much sig updating needed*

My Github profile - Some Android stuff, some AVR stuff

An excellent post on "noobs vs. developers"

A few opinions on kernel development "good practices"

Same here, haptic feedback for back and menu buttons doesn't work (or I'm too stupid to find the right setting).

thanks for the build! it's great in many ways!

but I found this bug (idk if this considered a bug, or it's the way it flies)
s-pen works beautifully, but when my palm touch the screen, it won't recognize the s-pen (it's when my palm move actually, if it stay still, the s-pen will work), tested with jotter and freenote. on freenote, when your hand touched and moved, the ink will go down your screen

I found it on any ICS AOSP based, havent tested it in ICS samsung leak. Works fine on GB though...

thanks!!
