help me i have only 2 weeks left on my garanti!

i gave my tablet to my cousin who said that he will enable proper arabic language nmanagement on my p1000 tablet which i bought from danmark, to discover later that he installed the original ÚAE rom, and without even backing up my original! i got a nordic rom from a swedish forum (although it appears to be german when u start it first time!), now KIES still says my firmware isn't supported by software update,, what can the problem be? is there a way to make it acceptable again by KIES?
and one more thingh: i have 2 weeks left on the garanti, so if i return it to the store will it be still supported or they'll say it's no longer so coz i installed another rom on board? coz my tablet is having problems with the battery and some other stuff.

Flash stock Rom . Make sure its for your device model

i asked for a stock nordic rom and got one from a swedish member, a stock 2.3 rom for gt-p1000 if that's what u mean, unless u mean subtypes?
also i googled my problem and found somebody with somewhat similar problem on another samsung device, and he was answered about the problem being probably lieing in changed (Hidswver), could this be also the problem with my device? and is there a solution for that?

Try on sammobile.com download stock rom from there and flash it with odin

You could also try it at teamovercome.net site...there you find also an excellent (in my opinion) guide how to flash gingerbread via odin. Perhaps you also want to go on and try overcome too :)?

rodman01: i got the first rom (GB-Stock-Safe-v5.zip) from the website teamovercom, (coz it's the same name for the rom i got earlier) and installed it via odin 1.7 , but still kies says that my tab's firmware dosn't support software update,,
update: i downloaded the rom from the website, installed it and it's the sme as the one i got, and the same problem stays with kies!
doès anybody have possible explanation for the problem that prevents my device from being updated?

ok perhaps its better to try a version from sammobile, because there are the official firmwares.....perhaps you try one earlier version like frojo, because then you can be sure that there is definately an update available.....as far as i know the kies support for updates has also something to do with the CNC code and the build number of the rom....the last 3 letters of the versions are related to the country and the product ect.....i found some more informations in an other foorum but unfortunately its german....i will copy it here below, perhaps it helps...otherwise i can try to translate it as good as possible....:

"Kies sagt "Softwareaktualisierung über Kies werden von Ihrem Gerät nicht unterstützt:Aktuelle Firmware-Version: i9000XWJWI/I90000XXJVO/i9000XWJVI (KOR)"=KOR is for Korea and German Phones will not get an update....and

"10. Kontrolliert nach dem erfolgreichen flashen euren ProductCode durch Eingabe von *2767*4387264636# in die Telefontastatur! Sollte dieser mit DBT aufhören, ist alles gut, und ihr braucht NICHT mit Schritt 11 fortzufahren!
11. Wenn nun aber die letzten 3 Stellen eures ProductCodes nun KOR lauten gebt *#06# in eure Telefontastatur ein und notiert euch nun die angezeigte IMEI.
12. Verlasst das angezeigte Fenster und gebt nun *#272*???????????????# in eure Telefontastatur ein, wobei ihr die ??? durch eure eben notierte IMEI ersetzt.

An other post says that the product code for Germany should be

thanks rodman01 for these info, but unfortianetly they don't provide the option for the nordic region! i found option for UK, italy, germany, open europe (satrting with hungarin i assume), france and carefor UK! the problem is the same with all of them!

ODK is also a CSC code for Sweden. But the most common is NEE which stands for Nordic Countries and XEE which is Sweden.

all official firmwares are here, but you might know this page and unfortunately no specific nordic one :(
