Question [Q] LED Notification?

Hi all,

I know the Atrix 2 has the green blinking LED that seems to do nothing except blink with no rhyme or reason that I can see... it acts more like a "I'm on and working" LED than a notification system... Can this LED be programmed for notification? Can it blink in any other color besides green?

That was one thing I loved about my old Windows Mobile Tilt/HTC Kaiser - the LED would blink orange/red if there was a missed call or text message - I didn't have to turn on the screen at all to check...

It would be really nice if the LED on the Atrix 2 could do this....
MINE:
Samsung GS2 Skyrocket running Embryo 6.11 (Best so far!)
Acer Iconia Tab A501 running Evil Alex Unleashed V2

My Better Half's:
HTC One X 3.18 STOCK (Like I have a damn choice atm)
Samsung GT2 10" STOCK/Rooted
My Teenager's:
iPhone 4 16GB running whatever crap itunes is dishing out nowadays (BLEAH!)

When in doubt - get a Samsung device. Haven't run across one yet that can't be flashed/rooted/xda'd

There are several apps that allow you to set options for the led. Light Flow seems to have the most options.

It can with Light Flow - but i thought it bugged out my system, so i removed it..

Now, as for modding the led without an app... that's a different story that i've been looking into, and it doesn't seem to have a happy (or simple) ending at this point..

Um. Yeah. It blinks white when you have certain notifications, it blinks blue for Facebook, it blinks green for texts and emails, red when the battery is low, it can go purple. You must not use your phone that much...

That's all stock, mind you.

I had no idea. I've never seen it blink in any color other than green and then when it did I didn't have any notifications so I assumed... and it appears wrongly.

Thanks for the info. I'll pay more attention as I go... and yes, I've only had the phone for about a week (I traded my Dell Streak for my g/f's Atrix 2 since it was giving her fits) - already loaded Lithium 1.2.1 and this phone rocks!
