I appreciate logcats but please don't expect me to fix everything instantly. I DO NOT OWN A Wildfire. So development may be slow.
IMPORTANT:
First flash the rom, boot and finish setup, (note: keyboard won't work on first boot), reboot to recovery then flash resized apps.
How to get Camcorder working:
If you turn the camcorder app on the video quality is set to 480p but the Wildfire can't record with this resolution, so you have to set the video quality to low (320x240) now video recording should work
Current features:
Rooted with latest superuser installed
Busybox installed
Majority of apps resized
Based on sense 2.1 android v 2.3.3
Htc 3.0 lockscreen included
Overclockable with SetCPU
arco68's kernel, nFinity installed
APPS2SD installed
JIT installed
Htc Hub working
Livewallpaper fixed (adjustable in ADW Launcher. Then switch back to sense. (Thanks scux) )
What is the rom base? What rom do you want to port?
There are already some ports of newer sense, but they are still unfinnished because of WF's low resolution. So framework and every app has to be resized.

mate the rom base is CM7 although I'm not sure if it was a good choice.
I know there a several unfinnished ROMs with Sense 2.1 but I'm willed to finish this rom (and I try to learn new things to solve the problems. Yes resizing is needed, but I thought porting from HTC Legend would spawn less problems because of the same chipset.
Ok, lets clear some things up first. I am no developer and I am only learning as well. From my understanding you cannot base a sense rom on any kind of CM7 rom as it is built from AOSP which is different to sense as it is a modification of the AOSP done by HTC. If you would like to work on a sense 2.1 you should just continue the old rom SenseOnFire (you can find it under the development forum) It works and boots, just make sure you read up on how to fix the issues that still remain first Got any issues/questions then just shoot me a message

What device are you porting it from. If its an ARMv7 device, you can't port from ARMv7 to ARMv6.
He is trying to port from the HTC legend which is ARMv6, the problem is that he is trying to mix AOSP with a Sense Rom (which is what I stated before). Even if he could get the rom working he and others would have to resize all the apps again [legend's screen is 320*480]. It's awesome that he wants to attempt porting a rom to get some skills up but it would be a waste of time as there is a discontinued rom [SenseOnFire] already out there with most of the apps already resized.
Good Luck to him whatever path in android development he chooses to pursue

yes please continue SenseOnFire. Its preety ROM, fast and stable. Only thing to repair is GPS, and led and bluetooth(but bluetooth not necessary) All aps are resized good, and lockscreen from new sense is AMAZING. try to continue sensOnfire. We all want to have android 2.3 with new sense
