couldn't install. flashed through kernel and modem install, then shot straight to the siyah splash screen, and hung. did it twice. no joy. What am I missing?

Same problem here. Tried starting from cm7 then aokp neither worked. I'm stuck at siyah dual boot screen except with no text at the bottom. Did your install automatically reboot itself?

no, three times, I gave it ten minutes each, then rebooted recovery (once just did a reboot normal). First few times came from ShoStock2, last time came from CM9. Hope to try this ROM out in the next few days, looks interesting.

Only problem at ALL so far, is the Smart Scinema is in german. I falshed over Mystic18 no issue. When you guys do dalvic, cach part..also go into mounts and format sys. That should work.

We will sort you out!

Installed with a full wipe from Task's AOKP and the whole process took less than 5 minutes. No problems and no FCs. Battery life is fine as well.

I found that you MUST do a dalvic cache wipe along with a system wipe for a good installation. No problems from there for me. Just sayin......

I ran cache, dalvik, kernal cleaner, and format and it stuck at the Siyah screen. I will try the mounts. I am coming from 5-1 AKOP.

Came from AOKP myself yesterday with no problem. Did you do a full factory wipe/reset? Did you install the rom from recovery or use another program to get to recovery?

I did all the above steps with a factory wipe/reset. I did it straight from CWM recovery. I will probably give this a shot again later.
