Default [Q] No Tcp socket data transfer via USB - is this normal?

Hello,
I tried to setup a funambol-client on my Kaiser (WM6.1, last official german Telekom-ROM). The Funambolserver runs locally on host-PC. But the client dosn't get connected to the server.
What I tried an found out:
Accessing funambolservers Website from Host-PC (via USB-IP-Address) -> Ok
Accessing funambolserver from Kaiser via WLan -> Ok
Accessing same funambolserver from older WM5 Device via USB -> Ok
Pinging USB-IP-Address from Kaiser -> Ok
Connecting via telnet to port of funambolserver from kaiser via USB -> connection establishes but no datatransfer (tried "GET /index.html" which worked locally)
Settings: USB Advanced Network features are on, USB-Networkcard connects to "internet" (whats the meaning of this?). Host-PC is a Xubuntu 11.10-System, USB-PTP-Network seems to be OK, can do filetransfer via synce and remoteaccess via gce-mirror.
Any idea, is there something like a firewall in WM6.1, or some othe security settings? Thanks a lot.

Default Has nobody any hint?

Maybe it's very unusual what I try to do. But I thought there must be the ability to use a normal socket-connection, if there is a IP connection between Kaiser and host-PC (via USB).
With WM5 it just works.
There may be other applications, what want to connect to a webserver at the host-PC.
Active sync does it too (I've seen it in netstat at the Kaisers taskmgr) but dont know, who connects and who accepts the connection.
Meanwhile I changed the networkport of the funambolserver to 888 (maybe default value 8080 is locked somehow) but nothing had changed.
Has this anything to do with the "client separation"(I dont know exactly what it is, but I read about it).
For a workaraound I setup a Wlan Adhoc connection, this worked, but ist unsafe (only WEP). Bye fom blumentopf75
