Default [Q] So does the S III will have LTE hardware or not?

The way I understood the news from today, the LTE hardware is definitely present in EU devices but will simply technically not work in certain countries. Is my assumption correct?

I wonder if that feature will be useful in the future at all then if the frequencies used here are not supported at all?
Galaxy S III i9300 (XXXDLIH stock ROM + CF-Root 6.4)
Previous firmware: XXXLG8 (+ CF-Root)
Xoom MZ601 (UK 3G - ICS stock rom)

The real question is will the LTE model have the quad core chip or a dual core chip like the One X.
