My wifi seems to have decent speed. The only problem I have is every time I turn it on I have to turn off wifi, wait, and turn it back on to connect. That hardly ever happened in 1.25, but it happens consistently in 1.35. I'm wondering if a clean wipe and install would help that problem go away or if it's just par for the course with the 3.0 kernel? I also noticed I couldn't see certain access points that other devices can see out there. Like I couldn't see our AP at work today even though my phone and laptop could see it just fine.

I know I didn't answer your question, but I think...in general...there are wifi issues.

I am seeing this same issue. If the kindle goes to sleep and I wake it up wifi doesn't connect to any network until I toggle it off and then on again. A minor irritation in an overall wonderful ROM.

Hashcode posted this about his kernel. Don't know if ti will help or not.

That does actually seem to help, but I will give it a little more testing tonight. Thanks for the repost.

As a follow-up to my first post, the power button flickers every so often when the kindle is charging. I verified that it is charging. I have excellent speed on wifi, and the tablet is more responsive, even before increasing the clock speed. I like the rom.

i'm experiencing either really slow charging or really bad battery life :/ i'm using my KF while it's charging and the battery is actually going DOWN, but slowly. had it plugged in for about an hour and it stays around 14-17% battery remaining. any ideas? i'm on this rom and using stock charger and intersectRaven's kernel.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA

Are you using USB or the wall charger to charge it?
Change is free, but not freely given.

Seems to be working better for me too. Takes it a while to find the network, but it eventually does on it's own without fussing. Thanks!
