Loving the phone but I'm having issues getting used to the size. I could do everything one handed on the 4s. In order to use the one x one handed I'm putting the phone in some uncomfortable positions. Feels like I'm about to drop it. I'm also finding the reception is slightly weaker and the wifi bug sucks. I love how I can customize pretty much anything. Would love to hear more opinions.
I made the switch too. Finally an Android experience without the sluggish experience. I did however have to turn off Auto Fit in the web browser. Hated that feature on HTC...
Overall it has been very positive. I had to switch to an ICS keyboard though since it's similar to iOS. ICS is very fluid smooth though. iOS is still better overall.
I will say though, email is much much MUCH SUPERIOR on iOS
The One X will do for now until the iPhone 5 comes out. I have a feeling though, LTE + 4"+ battery life will be a huge advantage for Apple so I'll probably switch back.
And please, any members trying to start an argument, please do not post.

First I want to say this is the first non-Apple device that I have purchased from AT&T. I wouldn't say that the email is much more superior on iOS, the one thing that does suck really bad is that there is no way to do pinch to zoom. So when you get HTML emails it is zoomed in and hard to see what the whole email is saying. That is the one bad thing about email on android right now.
Now I do have to say that you comments about the phone don't seem to be very positive. If you really don't like the HOX very much then just return it rather than just complain and be all negative.

Just incase you didn't see the positive points... I think both devices are good in a certain way. Now we get to experience the other side of the "good stuff"... larger screen, LTE etc...

Also my first android phone and I'm coming a long string of iPhones. I strongly agree that the email app is the weakest part of the phone. Which there was another solution.
I'm switching BACK to android after a less than stellar iphone 4s experience. The screen was too small for me. I also hate hate hate the notification system on IOS. As far as email, I never had a problem with it on android, maybe because I use gmail, I don't know.
Now just so you don't think I'm fanboi I'll just say this, I have an iMac, which I sometimes boot windows 7 on, an iPad, a galaxy Tab 2 tablet, and consider myself platform agnostic.
IMHO IOS is superior on the TABLET, and Android is superior on a PHONE.

Another solution to what? HTC'S email app? Don't use it. There are quite a few email apps on the market, K9 is a decent one.

I know that you just got here, so don't be lazy, but there are stickies, so read them maybe? Unlocking and rooting your HTC One with a Mac

I guess I should point out why the email app is so important to ME...
I have 5 microsoft exchange accounts. Personal and WORK related.
iOS's email app is the easiest to setup and has a better combined inbox experience. As a user has pointed out above, HTML emails are horrible on Android. No zoom out whatsoever.
My biggest issue with Android has always been the email. Separate Gmail and Email app? It's a stupid design. Now don't get me wrong, for the regular person that has only one email account, they won't care.
However, again, for MYSELF, it's not productive and it's a disappointing experience.
But for now, big screen with 300+ dpi, LTE speeds (58mb down for me!), much much faster and better OS, and something to play with, HTC One X will be my main phone right now.
Will I switch if the new iPhone 5 has LTE, bigger screen, and a better battery life, probably. Until then, I am ENJOYING my HTC One X.
Sigh...I swear "fanboys" really need to not post at all and just giggle to themselves
I have an iMac, so I am somewhat of an Apple Fanboi. I have drifted back and forth between iPhones and Android phones. I had a 4s which I liked, but got bored of. I used to make fun of the "giant Android phones" with their large screens. Now that I own one, I would never go back to smaller. The wife's iphone 4s feels like a toy in my hand now, it's TINY.
I gotta say, with ICS and Sense 4 on the HOX, it runs as well as iOS did on my 4s.
The camera on this thing rivals (or sometimes betters) the shots I took with my 4s.
I love my HOXL, and so far I haven't experienced any of the bugs people are reporting.
The default boot animations on any device, no matter whichmanufacturer, are generally pretty … more
