Hello. I present my new rom, SuperStock.

Stock rom in a way you've never seen before

Features:
  • Based on v21E (2.3.5)
  • Everything stock. Nothing removed at all.
  • Promethius Kernel v1.4.5.1
  • 1.2GHz overclock
  • EXT4 partitions
  • Massive performance tweaks (and that's an understatement )
  • Jellybean-ised
  • Camera tweaks
  • APN list from CyanogenMod
  • Some apps
  • Radio
  • Bravia Engine and MegaBassBeats mod
  • OTA functionality
  • Roboto font integrated
  • Some more things that I forgot
You must have a Gingerbread baseband installed before flashing this rom.

DOWNLOADS:

Full rom
[SIZE="4"]Download (v1.1.1): NA

Update
[SIZE="4"]Download (v1.1.1): NA

How to install:
  1. Copy zip file to phone.
  2. Boot into CWM.
  3. Flash.
  4. Reboot
  5. Wait. Good stuff is happening in the background.
  6. Set up phone
(if wifi and/or bluetooth don't work)
  7. Boot into CWM again
  8. Flash TitanKernel
  9. Reboot
  10. ???
  11. Profit!

Wiping cache and dalvik-cache is unnecessary for rom install since I automated it in the script

Bugs:
I borked the build, but exams are here sorry guys, I'll up this as soon as I can (once my exams are over)

Credits:
samno for Promethius Kernel (samno's git)
CyanogenMod for APN list
acquariusoft for OTA functionality

---Q&A---
Q: What's the difference between this rom and the stock rom?
A: Huge performance tweaks. Lag has almost entirely vanished even while keeping all the LG proprietary software and parts enabled

Q: My baseband stopped working
A: Flash a Gingerbread baseband. You weren't reading the instructions

Q: I have some random problem! What do I do?
A: A logcat would be preferred, else a description should work fine.

Q: Where's ICS? I would love CM9.
A: Go away. Or, see here.

Q: Does this rom fix ghost calls? Does it have ghost calls? What causes ghost calls? What's a baseband?
A: See here.
Forever hungry.

That's weird. It works fine for me when I flash it that way. Did you factory reset before flashing? Try wiping cache and dalvik cache before flashing TitanKernel.

Also, my dropbox public links keep getting suspended due to excess traffic... luckily I have a mirroring system in place

sorry, didn't do a factory reset. i always like to get away with it if i can

takes patience to set-up everything all over again the way i want them so i always try to go without data wipe.

will try one more time... or will try acura's beast 2 kernel instead of samno's

Try samno's v21A kernel rather than v21D. It might fix your problem.
