Desk Clock/Alarm clock that doesn't keep hardware keys lit?
I've been using Alarm Clock Plus on various devices for sometime. There are other similar apps out there. I use it for two things - as a desk clock at night (to show the time in big numbers) and an alarm. Obviously the H1X has a built in alarm app so don't really "need" it for that.
On the H1X, for some reason, the capacitive "hardware" keys (back, home, app switcher) stay "lit" when the device is plugged in at night. My SII didn't do this (it had the same type of capacitive keys). It's very annoying and defeats the purpose - the clock is very dim but the keys are very bright.
I've noticed that some (3rd party) apps keep the keys lit when they are running (eg MX Player) whereas some of the first party apps don't (watching video using the Gallary app).
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a desk clock / alarm clock that specifically doesn't keep the capacitive keys lit when charging? I've tried a few others and it seems they all have the same issue/behaviour.
