I think it's because i replaced the kernel that it refuses to work.
Does anyone know how to edit a kernel? Maybe i can lower the CPU clocks and make the Hero kernel work for the Magic.

Or any idea for fixing the WIFI?
Do you have the right modules in there?
A logcat would be really helpful

Error: device not found, he won't connect with PC so i can't make a logcat.

I try to edit the modules, but then he boots into the last recoveryscreen and hangs.

In the recovery i can see it, but once in the rom i can't see it anymore.

Maybe a stupid question, but how do i do that?

When the ROM is just booted, i can see in the statusbar 'You can safely remove the SD-card'. When i take out the SD card and insert it again, It immediately says 'Sd card safe to remove'.

Smile :)

So if you are using the Gingerbread kernel why dont you use the GingerBread Wi-Fi modules tooken from the same ROM you took the kernel from? Try that, hope it will work and you wont leave your work on that state. You went too far to stop developing it.

I have replaced the kernel together with the modules. I swapped some files, but it is still not working.
The problem is that i know nothing of Android ROM's.

I use Cygwin to (un)pack the boot.img, I don't have Linux. So i'm limited in my development. If someone could post some guides or essential information, that I certain need, would be very helpful.
The problem is that the porting doesn't go easy, because i don't have a base CM9 ROM.
But all information of building and porting ROM's would be appreciated.
I really want to develop it, but I just don't have the knowledge.

I do have a logcat.
I'll see if i can fix the wifi problem.

E/WifiStateMachine( 745): Failed to load drive
E/WifiStateMachine( 745): DriverFailedState

This is the logcat of the WIFI. I googled it and it seemed it has to do with the kernel.
I just use the original kernel and then flash the one from the link. So the modules should have been replaced.

Do somebody have an idea to fix the WIFI problem?

I think it's kernel related. But which files should i replace?

Updated ROM: better battery, and no need to flash kernel.
