[MOD] Search key to Recent apps AOKP-B40

***This project is no longer maintained following the release of AOKP M6***
Thanks for everyone who used it, maybe make a return in Jelly Bean

Modifies Search Key to Recent Apps instead of home long press. All credit goes to evilisto.

I know there is another thread but Since evilisto took a break there have not been updates
Thus I will compile and keep flashables updated with AOKP builds and every so often with CM9 nightlies.

AOKP M6 REVERT

CM9
**CM9 has now integrated the mod in the latest nightlies and only a key edit is needed now**
With a root explorer, open /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and change SEARCH to APP_SWITCH the reboot.

You can also going into /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and edit APP_SWITCH to SEARCH to restore search button.

Disclaimer: These may or may not work with ROM's based on CM9 or AOKP. If you try, prepare the revert with android.policy.jar pulled from your ROM zip framework.
CM9 nightlies are subject to change, which may cause incompatibilities. I will try to update weekly, but please post if it doesn't work for a specific nightly and I will try to update ASAP.
Does not work with ICS Slim right now.

I'm running aokp milestone 5, and after flashing, the home and back are reversed.

Also, the revert did not restore the back and home keys

Its based on AOSP with cherry picks from AOKP and CM9, So Im not sure
which policy.jar would be compatible

just tried installing the m5 zip... slim 3.5 wont boot. caution!

edit: m5 revert did not solve anything either. may be an isolated incident but i feel like something is not playing well

Yeah apparently their frameworks differ too much to work.
Revert only replaces with unmodded. aokp policy.jar so same problem since not compatible.
Pull the policy.jar from slim to revert for you.
