Wipe at least your cache.

hTC did something on their new 2.05 base and probably we all need the new source for making all to go well :\

If its any consolation I'm having battery drain issues with anything other than stock 2.05 kernels.... So yes I think htc have been busy breaking compatibility.

Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium

yes the frameworks etc are edited and if we flash 2.05 over 1.29 we only get errors and cant use the phone...i hope the final base is better then the test base with battery etc...maybe faster and stable, too the battery life have to be improved....its to high battery drain when the phone is in use..in standby its really good...

I find the phone to be much faster and have the best battery life yet in 2.05 ROMs... I didn't like having to wipe though :P

Im on 3.4 kernel using rd miui....my wifi is dropping like hell compared to other kernel flashed. I know kernel 3.x is experimental but does anyone have the same issue and can point me to the right direction?

WiFi is dropping probably because of the hardware problem that hTC was talking of.
Did you notice that your WiFi drops are happening only when sending the phone to standby mode?

My custom driver hasn't got the ugly hacks that hTC has done, I'm digging in what hTC has done to that driver for making it to act like hTC's one.

EDIT:

V0.21 has been released!
This version adds custom hacks to the new WiFi driver: the CPU hog by WiFi driver after device resume has been solved.
Also, now the WiFi connection is being restored correctly.

Moreover, there are some custom modifications to Tegra3's PM driver for making it to work correctly with the new 3.4 pagemapping way.

Enjoy!
