What is required to push this via ADB to a .26 system?

best method is rooted and with root explorer simply paste it in system/ im on .26 and its running great

or basically when it reboots and adb comes alive you may be able to push it to /system with adb push build.prop /system




the only reason i wouldnt push this to a 201 is bc the build.prop may mess up things in the market

but i dunno make a back up






i included a few tweaks above the 60 fps line also

like wifi supplicant scan and theres and nvidia line right underneath that as well


just post a 201 build.prop and ill tweak it for ya is easiest

Hello my friend... good to see you here I am sure you are going to push this one to the limit... thanks for being here. Just got a 300, will arrive in a week or so . By the I hope you got ideas on track.

This tweak is awesome. Thank you. I had been getting on/off lagginess and launcher crashes which I had been unable to quash for any length of time. I replaced my build.prop last night (kept a backup) and the 300 is still running great this AM.

i will make a copy of it and install it in a zip file to upload later. thanks. i liked the tweaks you made so was curious if it could be done on Prime also. most tweaks like you posted are only on custom roms on prime and need unlocking. its great you did this stuff with only needing root.

i will definitely make a backup by adding .bak at the end of original file. then just add the modded file to that folder. Will this affect OTA updates? you know how if you change certain system files or get rid of stock items, it causes OTA updates not to work. i know i could always switch back but just wondering.

ive attached my prime build.prop to this post. its inside the zip file. Im on latest prime U.S. firmware .21 & rooted & overclocked to 1.6ghz using Dr.Wowee Ezoverclock app. just in case that info makes a difference.

OK while I'm not new to this playground either, to the Asus arena I am... How did you gain root? It couldn't have been as simple as installing su... or is it?

thanks, appreciate it. so just backup old build.prop(adding .bak to end of it), then add in this new build prop, then reboot, & PROFIT? i wont need to set permissions or anything like that would i? Ill be using Root Explorer for this. I have to mount as R/W for it to take it, right?

I took a look inside it. looks like some good tweaks in there. ill wait to hear your response on this post before trying out.
