[Q] Problem with USB Host

My Galaxy S can't read any device.
When I connect my USB OTG cable everything seems to be fine, the cable is recognized, it says "OTG USB cable connected", "Root hub present, USB Host mode is active!" and so on...
But when I go to the USB tab no device is shown.
Anyone had this problem?

Can anyone help me? I really need this for a school project and I'm running out of time...

If anyone have this working in their Galaxy S, please show me the links to download the ROM and other things that I might need.
