I recently unlocked my Transformer Prime, installed TWRP Touch screen recovery, and installed CyanogenMod 9.
So I thought I'd share all of the videos that I've created on this beautiful device.
How To Connect your Transformer Prime to an ethernet adapter
(with CM9, I'm not sure how this works. You can see me trying to get it to work in my Review video of CM9 on the Prime) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYGv-...87501087653A16
If their are other videos that you'd like me to make, please let me know in a reply on here!
PLUS, I plan on installing AOKP and other roms on the Asus EEE Pad Transformer Prime!
Again, I hope no one has a problem with me starting this thread, as their are others just like it.
great videos man. you had me laughing also with you being High on Android..lol Seriously, thanks for the vids. i made sure to like them and i subscribed. I am like you or like you was in the fact that I've been putting off unlocking my device. just in case i ever needed to send it in. I watched the how to unlock & install recovery, how to install/flash CM9 & the review of CM9 on Prime. I am really interested in the AOKP one you said you will make. Any estimated date on releasing that video? Thanks to your videos, i feel confident about unlocking once i do. It all looks very easy. I just hope i wont get stuck in recovery bootloop at first like you did in video.
I like the features AOKP has so i will be waiting on that video install/review to drop from You. So which recovery do you prefer or find to be the best or easiest to use? TeamWin TWERP, CWM touch, or old CWM regular method. That teamwin recovery with goo manager looks simple and straight forward to use. also like the fact you can choose multiple things to flash at once and pick the order that it flashes.
Once again great videos. i know ill be watching the how to unlock and flash recovery & the how to install Rom one alot more. I'm always like that. being extra careful so i don't brick my device. So by constantly reading and watching the how to vids, ill have the in & outs down packed.

WOW! I had to reread that a few times! Judging by your reply, you pay very close attention to detail.
About the AOKP video, I work full time, and I get sunday through tuesday. So I'll more than likely make the video next week! Once I get off work on Saturday's, I'm literally FREE to make videos until tuesday night!
I really like TWRP! AT FIRST, I wasn't feeling it and would go back to CWM. On my EVO3D, you can NOT charge the phone while it's off (something I like doing) and usb mounting doesn't work in recovery. And their hasn't been an update in months. So I'm definitely enjoying Team Win as their recovery simply works, without any issues, and they are QUICK to release updates! So I'll be donating to Goo Manager when i'm not so broke, because I doubt I will EVER use Rom Manager again, and I want instant updates! My Prime has already had 3 Nightly updates since making the video. I don't regret voiding at all, AND NOW I get to make ALL of these videos!
Kinda like this one! When they get more things working, that would be AWESOME to have on my Prime! A dual boot configuration would be BEAST!!!
Thanks VERY MUCH for the kind words. I saw that you liked this thread shortly after I posted it, and it reminded me of your replies to some of the threads I've replied to. I appreciate you... A LOT!
There are a few guides that are slightly easier to follow especially the unlock and root guide which uses the wugfresh tool. Plus rom reviews and a weekly techvlog
Another good one is http://youtube.com/zedomax also good for some rom reviews and other good content like "high on android"

I have Zedomax featured on my channel.
I've never heard of the other guy though.
waiting for that AOKP video Team EOS Rom & that new Gummy Rom seem interesting also. oh, and can't forget about WSG beta Rom, very solid from what I hear. it would be great to show all the features and how they perform on a particular rom. These the kind of videos I've been waiting for to see how each of these roms look and perform and what added features they bring over stock. Although Virtuous prime is more stock based, I've heard its bulletproof. with the added features and optimization it has, its been said to be one of the most stable, if not the most. just some thoughts..lol
Having a good recovery makes the process of modifying, tweaking, maintaining, … more
