I've downloaded nvidia bootanimation. How can I apply it?

hi m8...copy the file then paste to system/customize/resource ...make it sure dont unzip the bootanimation.zip then your good to go

Is there a way to make the boot animation smoother..? Mine lags an awful lot. It's the blue android particles one listed above.

same here mate....some are not...just keep trying for other bootanimation that are no lag...im using superman and it works like a charm

I'm trying to use this on my EVO 4G LTE. The phone uses the same resolution so I didn't modify anything and I get white flashes (about 4 or 5) between the animation frames....anybody else know why? I like this collection of animations compared to ours, which is slim at the moment. I've tried editing the frame rate value and the pause value all to no avail.

is the nvidia tegra bootanimation in landscape mode? if it is - any chance of changing it to portrait?

Hi,

anyone available to let me know "how to install"....

I saved the ZIp and start into recovery.mode; choose install zip from SDcard and done but error by installing :-S

Sorry these are not self installing through cwm. You have to extract the bootanimation.zip from inside the archive and manually copy it to the right directory on your rom. Every rom has a different location. Best app to do so is root explorer.
