Someone feel free to correct me if i am wrong, There didn't seem to be any commits outside those to generate the unique MAC between this and the last revision. Are you sure you came from the prior kernel, or maybe something earlier?

this is a completely UNeducated guess, but since wifi can be a huge batt drain problem sometimes, could it at all be possible that something that was changed in this wifi mod is causing it to not be as huge a drain on the battery?
like i said, just guessing because i dont know how any of this stuff actually works.

this is a completely Educated guess

you're right, 'cause wifi is really drain battery very fast, each times when turn wifi on. and this new kernel Tytung changed to Unique wifi MAC and it's less battery drain if wifi on.
I guess

Don't spread the wrong message, atleast not until you're sure about it.

It is a wrong guess, wifi mac patch has nothing to do with wifi on/off, It's just a few lines of code that run during boot and setup device mac id.

Hi tytung,

maybe I missed something, but after flashing v2.4, I've got no MAC adress at all
I reflashed, fixed permissions, cleared cache & dalvik...
No MAC adress...

Hmm, tried 5 times, back to 2.3 now, which is running fine.

Hello tytung and all contributors,

just a question:

Default And for CPU 1612Mhz?

Is there any possibility to push the CPU to 1612Mhz as Dorimanx Kernel, if yes how can I do that?

Cheers!

Dorimanx already explaned that 1612MHz is not the real frequency.
Our HD2 can not work above 1190MHz due to hw limitation (?) and in Dorimanx kernel, the 1612MHz is there just because of better scaling (freq/voltage).
