That isn't a bug....it's just an inbuilt of sgy...they'll convert any text msg to a multimedia one as soon as it reaches 1 KB...

You need to install twframework-res.apk to decompile Mms.apk via apktool.
Also, use the aapt from apk-manager to void the error when recompiling Mms.apk (recompiling plurals.xml) or you may decompile-recompile using apk-manager instead apktool.

Bellow I attach cwm flashable Mms.apk modified from stock deodexed DXLC1. Remember safety first. Do backup before applying the attached file.

Opps. I can't decompile with apkmanager. How to install framework-res.apk? Where install?
