anker are known to be good batteries, but you should get the galaxy nexus battery that you can pick up from the verizon store. The OEM batteries have NFC capabilities the others do not. OEM should last longer too even though the mah are different.

ZDoubleZ, that's a sweet deal! I don't really care about NFC right now, but how is the battery life of the Nexus batteries compared to Anker?

Nexus is good too but if you want to use the same cover and under $30
to me anker battery is a best choice

OEM 1850 mAh left
ANKER 2050 mAh right

nexus does use the same battery cover.. and it is under $30 lol

the nexus extended battery is better than anker. it isn't by much, but it's better.

Been on the VZ nexus extended battery for a month - wow it is great. Much better than I expected. Took off the label paper, trimmed off the plastic end caps to the battery height (with a razor blade). Left on the NFC antenna, but can get it thinner by cutting that off. My stock cover barely bulges. It's been $35 at Amazon (Samsung 2100 mah extended with cover) or at Verizon (lucked out when it was $25)
