I wish I was that lucky, reflashing ROM and double/triple flashing the ROM doesn't help either.

flashed build 40 over build 39, aroma custom install, dalvik cache wipe, no problems.

Yeah its a head-scratcher Nun. Lost recovery again flashing 40 (just like 38, although 39 was a breeze). While installing via Aroma this time the installer froze on me (Aroma) while choosing apps. I had to 3finger back to recovery and start over...it was at this point after the Aroma install and subsequent reboot that I hung on the Samsung screen and lost recovery. Something similar happened (I just can't remember exactly...old guy here) on 38 when I lost recovery several times.

This time though I had a heck of a time getting into Download mode to Odin the ICS recovery, it just wouldn't go. Tried several battery pulls/power and volume button/usb plug and nothing. It wasn't that Odin wouldn't recognize the phone it just wouldn't go into DL mode. Finally just let it sit for a couple hours went to the park came back and tried again...and success. Reflashed except Wi-Fi was screwy. Held my breath and reflashed again...and perfecto...

40 is one slick build.... awesome job Yuma. Bluetooth, GPS, its a beauty. Although I am wondering what happened to Nun's silvery unicorn splash screen? I'm back to looking at the Galaxy S screen...oh well...minor issue. Great job you wicked brewmasters.

The file seemed rather large for the i997. Made me wondered if you might have mixed up another device's firmware.

It would have been very sad to think that you have abandoned us.

I dont care for Face Unlock, only used it once. But you said its not something you will "fix"? It worked for me on Build 39. Not complaining though i wont use it anyway.

720 can went all choppy again for me on build 40. Just an fyi

I think he just means it is not something that is gonna a cause for concern to rebuild 40 for or find what changed.
