Not true... They can still see the ENG hboot 1.90.2005 and know its not stock. Plus the bootloader will say s=off.

HTC isn't stupid. They made the devices. That's why people shouldn't do things to their phones when they don't know what they're doing. I never have sympathy for those that don't educate themselves

try this, assuming you have a windows machine:
-download any ICS rom, extract the boot.img file, put it on your desktop
-download faux kernel, unzip the file on your desktop to keep it simple, and in the folder 'kernel-here' delete the boot.img in it and paste the boot.img you extracted from an ICS rom
-restart your phone in HBOOT and go to fastboot
-run the flash.bat batch file in the extracted folder from the faux kernel download, and let the command prompt run. It should tell you that the boot.img image was loaded.

restart your phone and hopefully you should be ok.

Ms5sums may not match and could cause issue.

Not to mention, has anyone ran Faux kernel on an ics leak yet?

Not faux kernel, you're just using the kernel flasher, and swapping in an ics kernel.

the worst that could happen is you get stuck at the htc boot screen and your rom won't load
