Question [Q] Neo v Canīt enter in fastboot mode

Hello everybody!
Recently bought a xperia Neo V and would like to install custom roms on it and kernels,
however I can not put the device in fastboot mode mode to flash the kernel.
Have rooted the device, installed the CWM and the unlocked bootloader by testpoint method.
According researched, to enter the fastboot mode should hold the menu button and insert the USB cable
but when I do that the phone turns on a red light and charging symbol appears. the device goes into flash mode (green LED) and has usually managed to install custom roms but not kernel.
My phone is SIM unlocked.
I appreciate all the help available ...
Sorry for my poor english...

If your phone is sim locked you cannot enter in fastboot because it is also locked.

You have to unlock the phone (search for SE Tool or Omnius) and then you'll be able to enter into fastboot mode.

Regards

Type *#*#7378423#*#* if rooting status =yes then you should have fastboot, power off the phone hold menu and connect to pc led should be blue, if not try reinstalling the drivers. Tbh flashtool handles fastboot too, I don't know why less experienced people don't just use that, you can't make a mistake with the commands and it solves the driver issues.,
