Bear in mind, this is not a 'fresh' ROM as it also includes some files that were not originally present, eg the play store, fileexpert, superuser etc.
Also I may have removed the non-english input methods, can't remember!
Wow cooked rom, I thought you are still busy with your exam
Anyway, thanks alot, richardkemp. But how I am going to backup the original rom and flash this new rom ?
This is not a new ROM - it is a dump of what is shipped with the device, as seahorsepip requested. It is the first step to cooking a new ROM, but no work has been done yet ;)
BTW For those who have rooted, I recommend lowering screen density to 180 or 200 using this app. This makes the screen look more high-res like the real Note, allows more data on the screen. Try and see!

Ok, I see. I hope the new rom is coming soon.
Btw, first, do you know how to adjust vold.fstab file in order to have external sdcard mounted as /sdcard (/mnt/sdcard) instead of /mnt/sdcard2 ?
second, are there any CWM Recovery for this phone ?

I would think you would just swap the /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/sdcard2 parts of the lines without hashes, that is if the vold.fstab file is even used, I thought mounts were set up in init scripts, could be wrong though. No custom recovery yet, this would be the first step in developing for this device. As I mentioned I've not really got the time spare yet for such involved stuff unfortunately, but in a month's time I'll be jumping at the chance!
To be honest it's not as desperate a situation as on some devices: we have ICS, not burdened by Sense or anything horrible like that, and we have root. There are definitely some features of cyanogenmod I look forward to getting back, but I can wait :)

I changed the screen's density to 200, but I think it's quite small for me, so I want to change it back, but then I forgot to backup a system. Could you please send me a build.prop file.
GPS fail to start not only for Google Maps, but all the apps that need GPS.
P/S: I manged to change external sdcard mounted as /sdcard instead of /mnt/sdcard2. Here is a vold.fstab file: http://www.mediafire.com/?e1b3ppkjf1sqe5b just in case for someone who needs. Just download the file and copy or replace it in system/etc/vold.fstab, after that you have to turn off your phone and remove the battery together with SD card, then put those in again, and turn on the phone. Done !
Does anybody know why Google Play can't show a full list of apps, even a free apps, like Facebook, Youtube, Gmail in this phone ? Yet, Installation from the Google Play's website is ok.

Strange. Mine shows most popular apps. Still I can't find Flixster!
