DONATE TO ME
No matter what I do, Sounds to not stick!
I just discovered something with my Rogers ONE X.
Okay, let's provide a bit of background information.
I unlocked my bootloader using HTCDev. I rooted my phone using Superboot r2 method. I installed the interim CWM Recovery available today.
Here's the problem ...
I simply can't get sound-selections to stick after I reboot. At first I thought it might be the fact that I had all my personal sound files installed on the SDCard under directories entitled: Alarms, Notifications, and Ringtones.
So, I moved them all over to the appropriate directories under system\media\audio.
Still they don't stick. When I reboot my phone, my Ringtone and my Default Notification sounds both revert back to a sound file called "Unlock." Strangely enough, my Alarm sound DOES remain.
Any ideas? Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
Addendum: No offense, but I object to this thread being moved to the Q&A section. It specifically relates to rooting because the problem did NOT occur prior to the root/CWM installation process. Therefore, it could be an issue for developers. My opinion.
