Hi ,

There is a good news for you all.but Don't Expect Too much.I am compiling CyanogenMod for Galaxy Y.Hope I will get a zip file at last.Even if it is not booting,I think we can use some lib files and other files from this build.But hope for the best.

How To

1. Download the ROM and the kernel (Attached to the second post) Download
2. Flash the kernel
3. Copy it to Zip file sdcard
4. reboot to Recovery
5. Wipe data/cache/everything
6. Choose the zip file
7. flash it
8. test and report (logcat Required)

Hi guys,

I have made another build (10) .I don't know if anything works.please test everything.If it is not booting you have to replace the egl.cfg to 0 0 android and then test it.I got a job so I wont be able to contribute more for this without the device.I will still try my best.flash this with my modified kernel

Try this and provide Logcat.try using madteams framework file if reboot problem occurs.
test GPS,bluetooth,wifi,and everything else.
seperate specific logcat for each of the above will be very helpful

if it is not booting try to replace the mediaserver file from /system/bin with the old patch(CM7 Port [flashable patch.zip])

Update : Try the build.prop and check the packet data is enabled

use hsplit to combine the files and give logcat

copy alsa.default.so of the old CM7 patch
replace mediaserver in /system/bin with the one of the old CM7 patch
replace framework-res.apk and android.policy.jar in /system/framework with the one in madteams build

build 4 has changes but this is updated after build 4 so this is newest than build 4

join the files using hjsplit

How to

1. flash the kernel attached in this post (boot.img) this is modified to support dnsproxyd
2. copy build2 zip & patch to sdcard
3. Wipe everything (data,cache,etc)
4. flash both files via CWM [first flash build2 then the patch]
5. Boot into the phone
6. delete this file using adb or qtadb /system/usr/keychars/sec_touchscreen.kcm.bin
7. Replace the file in /system/usr/icu with the file from stock ROM

command for deleting the file

take adb shell you can see $ symbol then you can see # symbol instead of $ symbol then type the second line (type this without # and $ symbol)
$ su
# rm /system/usr/keychars/sec_touchscreen.kcm.bin

this is a shared folder.you have to download all of the files and join it using hjsplit

download the 9 parts and open hjsplit and click join then select the first file and click OK and you will get the original file

i have 4 Builds here and a usable sources with all drivers it was a surprise but you have created the topic

motafoca gived me a server for building cm7, Thx for Him.

The sources will be uploaded soon as possible with a perfect touch recovery good luck
