Default SETCPU + Notification = Problems

In SetCPU, I have a profile for 'Screen Off' ondemand.. max702 min384.

I just realized that when I have the screen off, I get no notifications. I tested this by having a friend text me + send me a message via whatsapp and nothing happens until I power on my screen (wake from sleep)

Anyone else having issues?

It's a known issue.

It's a phone problem. I believe HTC is supposed to address it with an update.

i read that some phones have problems with SMS not showing up unless you open the messaging app.

i dont have that problem. my issue is with WhatsApp. if the screen is asleep, I do not receive notifications. as soon as I hit the power button and the screen comes on, the message will alert.

my sms, which ive tested many times, seems to be working ok.

i tried all of this even after uninstalling setcpu, so this isnt an issue from setcpu.
