IME the DS kernel gives the illusion of better battery life until you think you have 25% and your phone has critical low power.

My bad, I forgot to capture that screenshot for ya. I can't now because I just flashed the Hellfire Phoenix rom, but once I go back to this one(if I remember) ill take a screenshot of the "display time on".

It's back from the future! That explains why everything works.
T-Mobile SDA --> Dash --> Dash 3G --> TP2 --> HD2 --> LG G2x (retired) --> Samsung Galaxy SIII

I got it after using the phone for a few minutes once.

But other than that it seems to me rock solid, and that issue only once is nothing. I wanted to go back from ics for the LG camera port and its awesome to have such a stable rom with the way most cm7 roms seem to be lately for my phone. Thank you much.

I'm waiting for my G2x to arrive still and plan on flashing either Nightly CM7 or this ROM, for stability and everything working. Just curious what kernel this ROM uses? The link provided has a "Trinity" logo on the right, does that mean it uses that kernel or the default CM7 kernel (which seems hasn't been recompiled for CM7-p999 in a couple of months according to github).

It uses stock as the default...I don't make kernel decisions for people...that's just me...But feel free to experiment and let me know what you all like!
