If you look in the begining of this thread, there's a link to a beats audio flashable zip that's for the evo3d gsm, works well with this rom. If needed, i probably still have the zip, or can scrounge up the link to the thread where the zip/specs are provided.. Again, it's somewhere in this thread if you wanna look yourself instead of waiting for me hehe.

My gf's evo3d with this rom has been having similar battery related issues over the past few days, haven't had a chance to look at it or try anything yet. Will get back when i do. If anyone else gets this fixed up first, would love to know how, might save me some time and random testing lol

I had a similar problem when I first flashed this. Battery life was great. But then I noticed my battery readings would say as an example 60% in the status bar where the system battery would read 55%.
I left the phone with my niece playing a movie. The battery should have drained it went from 25% to 20. I checked the system battery level and you guessed it. It was down at 16%.

I fixed this so they were both the same by charging my phone until the light went greenn and charged beyond that for a few hours while it was idle. Only then I wiped battery stats. Try "battery calibration" form the android market I've used it on my other phones. Makes it easier, rather than going into CWM. That then corrected the readings.
Hope that does the trick for you guys.

It should just be a calibration issue

Side note since moving everything from my Desire HD to my EVO 3D my battery drain has got crazy ... Anyone got any ideas for a good Kernal or anything that could be causing a wake lock or a drain? Trying to use this as my permanent phone.

Hi all,

I know this is probably already mentioned however I was unable to find it.

Issue:
After installing the ROM using 4EXT v1.0.0.5 RC6 the phone doesn't boot up. Now i've read that S-ON users need to flash the kernal after installation, which I have done however this still hasn't worked. Is there something I am missing?

Worth a quick mention, I have been able to flash this ROM before but it was the 1.5 version.

Currently I am using the NAND backup of 1.5 as my daily but would like to install 1.6 so I can change my phone from Sense to AOSP.

I have also tried re-installing the ROM after it has been installed and wouldn't boot. This didn't fix my issue.

Thanks to all that answer.

Make sure you enable smart flash (for s-on) in 4ext. No need to manually flash the kernel now.

In order to use 1.6, you must be S-OFF and flash the new firmware..
You essentially have 2 choices, go s-off, or stay on 1.5.
Going S-Off is easy, just look up the wire trick.

Turge, are we going to see any updates or are you pretty much done with this Rom?

Ohh ok, so using 1.6 is for S-OFF users only? is that correct.

Thank you however the wire trick looks a bit dangerous to be using on my daily device xD If you could provide a decent video tutorial on exactly how to do it I will give it a go ( I'm still a newb )

Thanks to all

As far as i know, you should be able to unlock your bootloader (s-off) for any compatible htc device at htcdev.com

This is the site i unlocked my gf's evo 3d bootloader with, and her phone is running this rom with next to no bugs.
