Hi all, I'm back.. please forget my previous post.

I'm trying to unlock my daughther's Hello Kitty Samsung Galaxy on Meteor Network in Ireland.

So, I've managed to ROOT (it's seems to be rooted as I have the Super User now)... but...

1) When running the supperuser app I got the following message: "su binary outdated" and "Tap to update su binary"
- When I tap.. the process starts but I got a crash when "Checking instaled version" and got:
"The application superuser (process com.noshufou.android.su) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again."

2) When running the app GALAXY TOLLBOX it's says "Failed to acquire ROOT access! please root your device first for using Galaxy toolbox!"

The device specs:
Model Number: GT-S5360
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: S5360XXLF3
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7 dpi@DELL128 #1
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.XLLG2

Any HELP PLEASE?

Try installing SuperSU from the Play Store, and uninstall Superuser!

1 - I've installed the SuperSU from play store as you said..
2 - Tried to run it... It's say "there is no SU binary installed, and superSU cannot install it. This is a problem!"
3 - To uninstall superuser I've downloaded "update-unroot.zip" from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1325453
4 - Unrooted the device and ok.. superuser gone..
5 - Tried to run SuperSU and same error as item 2 above...

The thing is.. If I manage to run the superSU with no errors Will it lead me to unlock the device successfully????

PLEASE, Do you have a tested working procedure (setp-by-step) for to do it?

If there's no su binary, then the "rooting" was unsuccesful.
You have to apply the appropriate "update.zip" succesfully via the recovery menu.

and worked like a charm with no faults. I did not need to install any other app... I did not need to ask for HELP to the OP in order to understand anything.

Unfortunately I did not use your app... but congrats for your work.. I can't review nor donate because it is useless in my case.

Just a last comment.. you guys do a lot of good work I know that.. but I think you all are working for yourselves because everytime I see a noob asking for help.. you guys tell them.. google it google that... unfortunately almost of google results (for androids devices) lead us this forum so I think.. if you are not patient with newbies.. you should keep this forum hidden from people like me.. a 20 years experienced system analist.. who knows very well how to use online search engines. but completely unexperienced with android systems... So if you do not want to help noobs..Why do you waste your time writing "unworkable" tutorials??? Why do you spend a lot of working hours and post things that are for only experienced guys understand? Did I miss the point of this forum??? Is it to share and help EVERYONE??? If not.... Why don't you just tell to newbies "KEEP AWAY"! IT'S NOT FOR YOU!

So, Doky73, you sounded like a nice guy but.. remember who would donate to your work will not do it if they can't get your app working easily and properly.
I don't know how old are you.... but.. would you accept a tip from a 45 y.o. guy? Spend a few minutes of your time and write a nice step-by-step tested and workable tutorial, one which will make your app run! hope you will get a lot more of donations!
