Default how to go back to gingerbread from ics beta ?

how can i go back to gingerbread on my xperia play from ics beta ?

Either restore a nandroid (should have been backed up before going to ics) and flash a gingerbread kernel, or if a nandroid isn't available, use FlashTool to flash the proper .ftf file for your device.

Dont mind me asking please but why would you go back to gingerbread? just few days ago i went exactly the other way around...
what made you decide to downgrade again? (im curious)

I downgraded to gingerbread too. Because of instability basically... I lost a photo that I took because my phone randomly freezed, and I want to play GTA 3. Not that I play GTA 3 that much, but is annoying to not be able to play at all :P

Well i dont really feel limited on ICS. Sure some games dont work on ICS but so far i have had joy with almost every game i had on ginger.
The instability mentioned above - i dont know...so far ICS++ has been running pretty stable on my play...
Again, i dont try to convince you guys that ICS is the only way to go. I am just curious why people actually downgrade..
