have seen that a user (mlovesu) had the exact same issue a month back..have PM'd him but no reply...also the thread(phone freezes and reboots) in this forum ends without a solution..

Du have any luck with the logcat??..one thing i can ascertain is that its not an issue with this particular ROM..its something deep inside my phone...Wud u know some hardcore android geeks whom i can question this or maybe start a new thread??

Thanks mate.
Hi mate, sorry nearly missed this was just scanning back and realised. It seems it's going to be baby steps with this issue as you get 2 steps forward and 1 step back at the moment lol I'm guessing now you're on Slim 4.2 it's happening again like it did before?

Hopefully he might reply to you, it's like I said I saw one guy have similar when he first installed 4.2 and then after a reset everything was fine but with you this just doesn't help which is the weirdest thing.

I've not been able to talk to him yet as he only got back off vacation yesterday but been out all evening today so will still be picking it up when we talk next don't worry. I would say post a thread in the Q&A section and give as much detail like you've said to me in all your posts so far mentioning that you've tried a number of stock Sammy and AOSP ROM's and sometimes dialler works but you then lose proximity sensors etc and see if anyone has had similar. Hopefully someone will come through for you or at worst will let you know if krarvind can see anything in the log you sent.

I have been a great fan of RR since march this year and i have been loving all the mods and features it has. Just yesterday i upgraded my phone to version RR 2.5.2 but there seems to be a slight issue.

I cannot seem to connect to H+ nextwork. I believe it has to be the radio but i am unsure. Can someone point me to the right direction?

I used to be able to connect to H+ with the previous versions but not this version. Thank you.

I know that maybe it's obvious but i have to ask...you reboot your phone yet after flashing right? If the answer is yes then maybe it's, as you well said, something related to the modem, but it's weird because at least on the three more recents updates westcrip it's using the same, anyway...you could check on the General FAQ of RR for some links which contains flashable modems.

Will keep that in mind. Thanks (I've hit the 'Thanks' link to you )

Best way is to search the Q&A and answer as many of the questions you know the answer to, people are happy to help no matter who it comes from.

As s.d.oconnor said but just don't answer a post for the sake of answering as that contributes to spamming the forum which the mods have enough of to contend without people adding more just to achieve 10 posts. Make your posts worthwhile and they'll be appreciated more and then those 10 posts will appear in no time. You'll notice a lot of people in your situation posting in here and using their posts to learn while they wait to get there. If you've got questions that haven't been answered just ask and you'll get people happy to help and then you'll not only have 10 posts you'll also have knowledge you didn't have before

Hi,

I've rooted my phoned and flashed CWM recovery to be able to flash a custom ROM. CWM does not recognize my sd card, whenever I try to browse it to get the rom it says files not found. Seems that it only recognizes the internal storage. If this helps, I have a 16 GB A-Data SD card in my phone. Curious thing is, almost every app on the phone does use internal storage as default. I want to get CWM to recognize my external storage to flash ROMs.

Thank in advance
