Default [Q] Problems after CWM?

Hello everyone. I'm new here (and I'm a newbie) and hence I cannot post this in the Development forums.

I read this thread there on rooting, and found this link that provided more step by step explanations for newbies like me.

That second page that I mentioned has comments on how some people apparently had problems after rooting, but I see no such problems mentioned in the thread regarding rooting the Galaxy Tab 2 7inch...

Will it be safe for me to follow the instructions mentioned in the second page I mentioned or am I at risk of bricking or damaging my tablet in any form?

There is Always a Risk

Best is to read and fully understand what you
are doing and how to back out if you need to.
(AKA: Do your homework ahead of time)

Fair enough :)

So, doing part of my homework here: would rooting it allow me to (for example) uninstall/erase some of all that bloatware included by Samsung?

After you gain root you can use Titanium backup to remove the apps.

You will probably need to use Heimdall to flash unsecured boot image if your tab was updated to UEALD3/SEP-66 #1

I would allow the tab to upgrade and then follow this thread:
http://rootzwiki.com/topic/24762-sto...ery-overwrite/

And then use ODIN to flash CWM which will allow you to flash root/busybox.

I ran into this today, Mine took the update the other day so
when I tried to root it earlier it kept reverting back to stock.

I need to wait until I get home to try again.
