Today I ran into phone app crashing constantly. I'm using Samsung's original Gnote car mount and I have it set landscape view as most of us do. When I got a call while driving I noticed the whole screen went BLACK! couldn't see who was calling and wasn't able to click anything... Few seconds later got a notice saying android phone app had crashed! Wtf.... So I wondered if this only happens in landscape view? What do you know, it was! When the phone is in portrait view phone didn't crash at all...

So I would like to find out if this is just happening to me only? Please if you own a Samsung gnote official carmount and if you have updated your gnote to Samsung's official ICS update (germany) try to make a phone call while your phone is in landscape view.

Please let me know thank you for your time!

Update: I'm sure many of us reported germany samsung this issue but what the hell I did it this morning as well included with video. I hope they release fix soon.

I had this issue only once, and it was quite severe there was an incoming call and the phone would not react in any way just kept ringing. Interesting after the battery pull there was no record of the call at all. Since then I have used the dock frequently with no problems. However I have changed some things I am running Apex launcher as a test for now but had the same with Go Launcher the phone would not switch to landscape mode without auto-rotate being enabled. The second thing I have changed is that I have frozen Voice Talk.
HTC TyTn II
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Samsung Galaxy S III
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

The problem did not happen again, but I have subsequently loaded Apex launcher and frozen voice talk.

You are on stock 4.0.3? I'm not sure how you have it working again... Not working on my side

I installed latest LPY Turkish Rom today and the car dock bug still exists ! i can't believe they haven't fixed it. I doubt they are reading xda at all . I wish we had a straight line to samsung somehow to report bugs so they could fix it in next releases.

I flashed LPF last night and now it's not working at all. I can dock the phone but as soon as I make a call the phone process crashes. So it would seem LPF worsens the situation.
