why does north america get different looking Galaxy S2 & note
i was just wondering, why does US version does not come with physical home button? patent issue? i cannot google on any reason why, as im just researching on coursework about patent etc would anyone can explain why ??

i hate the american versions because it doesnt look as clean but the search button is useful

They would be in even more trouble with Apple if they left the home button as is on the US models. Secondly, the US models need to include LTE radios which the Exynos CPU cannot yet handle. I've used both variants. Unless you are a serious mobile gamer, there is not really any real world difference between the two.
Also, on the home button, carriers dictate the designs and specs in the US. That's why you see slight variations even between US carriers.
