[MOD][05/18/12] Original ICS UI for Official SONY ICS

Background: Simply, I really don't like SONY's Ice Cream Vanilla UI, and love original Ice Cream Sandwich UI so much..
So I made this mod

I've made this mod a long time ago (since kamarush released the very first SONY Official ICS port to our devices),
and now I decided to share it here..
For those who currently use SONY ICS ROM, and miss the original ICS's UI (holo style),
maybe this will change your mood..

Check it out !!


1. Default Theme

I edited one of default theme to have original ICS's app background and wallpaper

2. Settings

I replaced the icons inside Settings.apk so it'll match ICS's holo style

3. Statusbar

This is not my mod, but I may advice you to use this too


Just go HERE to get it

Note: This mod maybe NOT work on every ported rom..
I've tested it, it's not work on kamarush's ported Official ICS but work on Rieken Yuki's ported Official ICS (XG!n 1)


4. Lockscreen

Hate SONY's old slider style lockscreen ??
maybe this mod is perfect for you..

That's for now..
I want to port original ICS transition animation too,
but it's currently impossible to successfully re-compile SONY ICS's framework..
(so be patient )

All zips can be flashed via CWM,
And don't forget this famous words:
ALWAYS MAKE BACKUP !!

Looks awesome! Any progress with the lockscreen? Xperia ICS lock is same as GB and people will love new, like the holo lock

I have no idea on how to port the lockscreen,
but did u try XG!n by Rieken Yuki or XROM ICS by Alifdroid ??
They have original ICS's holo lockscreen (not SONY's slider) by default..

Can someone do lockscreen for ICS .431? For my lww?

can anyone point to me how to edit default themes from our phone (mine is XMP)??? i wanna know how to change the images and the name of the themes.....

You must have the DefaultThemes.apk, and extract it via 7z. Next you must go to res/draweble mdpi and you have stock themes.

Will the wave lockscreen work on .431 Stock ICS rom on Xperia mini pro!
The download file is named 562Nordic..
