Default Led notification

Something I missed when moving onto s2 was the led that flashes for missed calls and sms. Does the s3 have this?

I typed this out all by myself on my Samsung Galaxy S2 using XDA

I have also got a question about the notification led: when you recieve a sms or a call, does the led stay on until you open the sms or missed call?
Because on sense roms the led is only on for 5 minutes or so, which is really crappy...

Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA

Probably settings in there somewhere to change the timeout on the capacitive keys for LED Notifications.

are we talking about the "light service" at the top left or the capacitive keys light at the bottom?
would it be able to change the colour? similar to the nexus one (I miss this!)
